August 2008 - Bao Xishun is again the tallest man in the world
Guinness World Records has returned the title of tallest man in the world to Chinese Bao Xishun after Ukrainian Leonid Stadnyk that refused to be measured under the new rules.

Bao Xishun, which measures 2.36 meters, was the holder of the title for a year before Leonid Stadnyk measuring 2.57 meters in height has been declared the tallest man in the world in 2006.

Guinness World Records requests Stadnyk since 2004 - since the agency has heard of him - the measure by offering the free return ticket between Ukraine and Great Britain, but he refuses to lend the new rules.

Bao is here with his wife at 1.68 m expecting a baby by the end of the year (2008). China Source Information.
