So here I am back in town. I too want to go. Being not too far from a lake, I prefer to direct me to this place to be calm. So I walked along the banks and grow peacefully just outside of Pokhara up Work Falls are waterfalls. I struggled a bit to find the entrance. Generally, one can clearly see the waterfalls. But here, the river is at the same level as me and therefore falls into the ground. This is not impressive but I still find it nice. Then I found an entry (with charge, I did not make a discovery) that leads underground to see these falls, but from the inside. Always nice. Since the lake, next to my hotel, one sees a stupa. Falls where I am, therefore I go up the hill leading to it. This gives a good view of the surrounding mountains and lake. All this because I'm about to find myself in the dark, dark. I go down so quickly on the bank opposite my hotel hoping to find a boat to take me across the lake. Whew, there's more.
Evening at hotel.
PS learns I today? There are people whom I suspected but I do not know who read my blog. It blows my mind. But mostly there are also people I do not suspect the existence of all who read it too. Here I am on your ass. Maybe I'm a celebrity in Syria and they broadcast as soon as he can my stories. Maybe I have 400 million readers .... In any case, I take this PS to greet all readers who waste their time reading this blog. And sorry for writing various delays, it takes time to do it anyway. And then to write things, it is necessary that I walk to fill the pages of this blog. And no walks, no balls or other galleys that make you laugh. And so during these walks, no time to write.
January 14.
Today, I launched into the bath. This is not an Indian in the city but Ronan in the city. So I stroll in Pokhara. I saw a market
extraction of gravel from the river
cremation of human bodies (Hindu ritual where we do not bury people, but they were burnt in public in the river).
A neighborhood with some nice old buildings
I also heard lots of horns, it hurts the ears.
Evening, I'm going to Sarangkot (on the roof of the bus) when I sleep. In what appears, it is a good view of the summit. Indeed, the fact that, with the view of the mountains, the city and the lake. So my sunset, but what seems, people go there especially for sunrise, I'll see it tomorrow.
As I already said before, electricity is cut in the evening. At 19h, so I put myself on the terrace of the restaurant to observe the city, nothing. I return to 20h, bam. It's weird to see a city die. In 5 minutes, 3 quarters are spent in the dark. The remaining lights are those shops and hotels have generators.
PS: today, doing some shopping, I could not help but buy them. In the store, my eyes fell on the chocolates of the ambassador. For so long that I wanted some real chocolate. Unfortunately for me, the box did not last long. 1st row as aperitif and the second as digeo. The problem is that it only lasts not even 5 minutes each time.
PS: going to Sarangkot, just after getting off the bus, I meet 3 of the 6 Nepalese with whom I spent Thorong La Pass. There was also an Australian with them.
even the barbed wire is used to make linen
