Giant Catfish
Spring 2007 a huge fish has been fished in a reservoir in Guangdong in southern China. Immediately a wild rumor takes over, backed by the Chinese net: it would be a giant catfish, which in recent years, have attacked and eaten several swimmers.
Several people have indeed disappeared in the pond but there was no indication that the big fish might be responsible. In fact, following the observations of marine life enthusiasts, catfish in question was actually a baby whale shark!

The only mystery that remains unsolved - unlike the shark - is how this animal endangered (and totally harmless to humans) rose from the ocean in this freshwater pond?
