Ouaga has nothing to envy in Hollywood? Last Thursday, several members of ACP's absence from the training that I provide to go to a funeral. Were buried in effect a local resident, brutally beheaded with an ax last night. This is the seventh of its kind in Decs few months in the area: apparently a serial killer lurks! He always acts the night, forcing the doors of houses and assassinating people in their sleep with an ax. Surprisingly, he does not steal anything. It is likely, because it is the approach taken by many thieves here, it launches through the window a sleeping pill to numb the person before entering her home (the windows do not usually have glass, just shutters see below).
In good Western, I suggested the solution of the watchdog, but here people prefer to eat ... Anyway, "they replied, simply throw the meat to the dog to be quiet: indeed here the dogs are usually not fed, they must scramble to find food.
Finally, the ultimate argument: it seems that some thieves use marabouts that give them the power to walk through walls ("It's Africa!" Concluded one who told me that). In this case, there is no point to barricade! It does not seem to be any defense against this serial killer, if not stay awake all night ... More prosaically, the locals lock their good will door (which is iron, pictured), apparently because the killer does not always go to: yesterday morning, following the latest murder, a neighbor of murder victim found two torn shutters and an ax in his door remained firmly closed ...

Addendum: Apparently, there was another murder in the same way just off the following night, that is to say Thursday night. The 8th in 6 weeks for an unsuccessful attempt (the person woke up and scared away the serial killer, but could not see who it was). History reassure all those who sent me messages or comments, watch the picture showing the appearance of doors and windows here: you really force it open when they are closed. All persons murdered sleeping outside (because of heat) or had unlocked doors.
